Stewart retired as a partner from the Firm July 2007, however he continues to work with the Firm and provide accounting and consulting services. He hails from Baton Rouge and received a B.S. in accounting from Louisiana State University He has worked for TWRU since 1965 and served as managing partner from 1972 to 2007. Stewart is a member of the State Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He is a board member of Trendwood Foundation and has served in a variety of past positions including board of directors, Episcopal High School; treasurer, Baton Rouge Rotary Club; and senior warden and treasurer, Trinity Episcopal Church. When he’s away from the office, Stewart enjoys golf, hunting and fishing.

Warren Bofinger, Jr., CPA, MBA

Warren Bofinger retired as a partner from the Firm January 2010, however he continues to work with the Firm and provide accounting and consulting services. He earned his B.S. in accounting at Louisiana State University and his MBA at the University of Georgia. He has been a practicing CPA since 1973 and became a partner with TWRU in 1986. Warren’s areas of concentration include taxation, technology and small business consulting. Warren is a member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs Technology Education Committee and is a QuickBooks professional advisor. He serves on the boards of the Paula G. Manship YMCA  Family Services of Greater Baton Rouge and Louisiana Public Radio, Inc.

Walter L. Simmons, CPA

Walter retired as a partner from the Firm July 2010, however he continues to work with the Firm and provide accounting and consulting services.  He received his B.A. in accounting from Louisiana State University in 1974 and has worked with TWRU since 1975. Walter‘s area of practice includes small business consulting, individual and business tax consulting. Walter is a member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs and American Institute of CPAs. Walter enjoys traveling and in his spare time remodeling older homes.

Linda R. Gibson, CPA

Linda received her B.S. in accounting from Louisiana State University in 1996 and went to work for TWRU in the following year. Since 1997, she has been a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. Linda has served on the St. James Episcopal Church Associate Vestry and as Chi Omega Sorority House Corporation Treasurer. She is currently a sustainer for Junior League of Baton Rouge and served as the organization’s Hollydays Chairman in 2007. In 2008, she was honored with the Junior League’s prestigious Nita Sims Breazeale Award.

Robert B. McNabb

Robert earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Louisiana State University in 1968 and joined the United States Air Force where he served through the Vietnam Conflict in 1972 earning an Air Medal with 6 oak leaf clusters and a nomination for a Distinguished Flying Cross. He became a certified public accountant in 1975 and was president and CEO of Robert B. McNabb, CPA prior to joining TWRU in 2007. He has been a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants since 1975 and served as president of the Baton Rouge Chapter in 2003 - 2004. He also served as member and later president of numerous other organizations such as the Lions Club of Baton Rouge, Inc., Estate and Business Planning Council of Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge Round Table and Baton Rouge Investment Syndicate. He has been a member of the Westminster/Pine Park Civic Association, as well as serving on the board and as treasurer of Medisys Technologies, Inc. Robert has a civilian commercial pilot license and is a certified flight instructor.

Nic received his B.S. in management and accounting in 1968. He then served in the United States Army as on officer earning the rank of Captain. He has served as a CPA and CFP since 1973 specializing in taxes, small business management and consulting and financial planning. Nic is very active serving on the boards of nonprofit charities for the betterment of our world.
